Open Call for YES Southeast Europe Media Literacy Workshop Trainer
Are you interested in learning and instructing others on becoming media literate in the 21st century?
Then this might just be the program for you!
The upcoming YES SEE Media Literacy Workshop Training Series is planned to take place between July and December 2022. It consists of three components:
Attend a three-day, in-person Training of Trainers (TOT) led by an American media literacy expert from July 15 - 18, 2022 in Skopje, Macedonia.
Lead an in-person YES SEE Media Literacy Workshop in your home country for 15 youth participants (ages 17-24) in September 2022.
Supervise follow-on projects from the Media Literacy Workshop organized by participants from September - December 2022.
This project aims to reduce the impact of disinformation campaigns on Southeast European societies and increase public confidence in identifying valid information, equipping people to make educated, rational decisions that strengthen public trust in media institutions and uphold democratic processes.
