The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program provides ten months of non-degree academic study and related professional experiences in the United States. Humphrey Fellowships are awarded competitively to candidates who are mid-career professionals in many fields.

On behalf of the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, we want to share the exciting news that the Fulbright Foreign Student Program (Master’s Degree) is accepting applications for the 2022-23 academic year.

The 2022 online application for the KAEF Graduate Fellowship Program is now open! The Kosovo American Education Fund (KAEF) provides up to 6 graduate fellowships per year to promising Kosovars for top-level training at U.S. universities. The program aims to empower the future leaders of Kosovo with the knowledge and tools needed to promote the country’s economic development.

During March, ten YES and FLEX program alumni held media competence workshops for their peers - high school students from Kosovo and Serbia. These workshops were part of the MEET program which is supported by the U.S. Embassy in Serbia and jointly administrated by American Councils offices in Pristina and Belgrade. Twenty-one high school Albanian and Serbian speaking students met virtually to learn about citizen journalism, fake news and propaganda, cybersecurity, and also to learn about each other.
